Our sustainability certifications

Obtaining internationally recognized certifications is a mark of recognition that highlights our ongoing commitment to strengthening our sustainability approach. This initiative encourages us to maintain a continuous improvement mindset while at the same time acknowledging the responsible actions we have already implemented. By adopting global standards, MECATHERM is reaffirming its goal to pursue and accelerate efforts where we can have a sustainable impact in environmental and social areas.

THE ECOVADIS CERTIFICATION

EcoVadis certification is a global benchmark for assessing sustainability. It analyzes companies' sustainability practices based on four criteria: environment, human rights, ethics, and responsible purchasing. Through this rating system, EcoVadis offers companies clear visibility into their sustainability performance while encouraging them to continuously improve their approach. Obtaining this certification serves as a testament to validate a company's responsible and sustainable management practices. In 2023, MECATHERM was awarded the bronze medal for its outstanding sustainability efforts.

This certification allows MECATHERM to demonstrate its commitment to climate change. By obtaining CDP certification, companies position themselves as responsible players that are committed to making the transition to a low-carbon economy.

LEARN MORE ABOUT CDP

Every year, international certifications enable us to improve and strengthen our overall sustainability approach to tackle social, ethical, and environmental issues. This continuous improvement approach helps us identify corrective actions we can implement and roll out a concrete action plan each year to improve our sustainability strategy. Working on obtaining certifications as part of our global approach supports our desire to implement ever more responsible practices, thus meeting the expectations of our stakeholders while making a positive contribution on our own scale to the sustainable development of the industrial bakery and pastry sector."
