MECATHERM launches its sustainable transport plan

As part of the reinforcement of its sustainability strategy, MECATHERM is proud to announce the launch of its multi-site sustainable transport plan in France. This ambitious plan aims to reduce the company's CO2 emissions linked to commuting while enhancing the well-being of its employees.

Accordingly, several initiatives will be deployed between now and the end of 2024:

  • Access to a car-sharing service for all employees via the Karos app to encourage colleagues to journey together.
  • The creation and restoration of showers on sites to encourage the use of active modes of transport such as cycling or walking.
  • The addition of on-site bike racks to offer greater convenience to employee cyclists.
  • The installment of charging stations to support the use of electric vehicles.

Raymond Nogael, President of MECATHERM, comments: “Sustainable mobility is a lever for reducing our environmental impact and strengthening community life. These initiatives reflect our determination to accelerate our efforts in areas where we can have a significant and positive long-term impact.”

At MECATHERM, we strongly believe that every action counts when it comes to preserving our environment. By facilitating access to sustainable modes of travel, MECATHERM reaffirms its commitment to a more sustainable future.
