MECATHERM supports the training of future talent through equipment donations

As part of its sustainability strategy, MECATHERM has recently donated industrial material to several engineering schools and education institutions in the local area of its site.

This initiative reflects the company's commitment to strengthening its ties with local communities while supporting the training of future industry professionals.

Giving our material a second life

As part of the renewal of certain inventories, we chose to prioritize reuse rather than disposing of components that were still fully operational. This responsible approach not only gives these materials a second life but also provides students with access to technologies used in real industrial environments.

Students can work with tangible industrial components and equipment, gaining hands-on experience and developing skills that will be directly applicable in their future careers.

"This project perfectly illustrates our commitment to combining environmental responsibility with tangible social impact. By sharing our resources and expertise with higher education institutions in our region, we are helping to strengthen the links between academia and industry."

Amandine CARDONNET - Sustainability Manager - MECATHERM

This project is fully aligned with our sustainability approach, driven by concrete, sustainable actions rooted in local realities. It also reflects our commitment to supporting the next generation of technicians and engineers who will help address the industrial challenges of tomorrow.
