MECATHERM WINS IBIE 2025 BEST IN BAKING AWARD IN THE “SUSTAINABLE  EQUIPMENT” CATEGORY

 MECATHERM’s Energy Recovery System solution, combined with the Hygro Control System, has received TOP HONORS in the “Sustainability – Equipment Supplier” category at the IBIE 2025 Best in Baking Awards Program. The award ceremony will take place on September 15, 2025.

The Hygro Control System is a smart and simple solution that automatically adjusts the hygrometry level inside each oven module independently. This optimizes energy consumption, reduces product losses, and enhances product quality.  

Combined with the Hygro Control System, MECATHERM’s energy recovery system enables energy savings across the entire line. It allows manufacturers to reuse the energy produced by baking vapors, recycling them into dry air for the oven and hot water for use in the proofer, steam boiler, or other equipment.
