Baking+Biscuit International was on site in Barembach, France, to discover MECATHERM’s fully redesigned Demo Center. Much more than a showroom, this 3,000 m² facility operates as a real industrial bakery. It’s built for full-scale testing and hands-on training. 

Equipped with over 25 industrial machines, including the M-NS II divider, the new M-RT moulder, and the award-winning vertical M-VT oven, the center supports complete processes (from mixing to baking) under real and controlled conditions. Visitors can compare technologies and instantly see the impact they have on products. 

As impressive as the new facility is, its greatest strength lies in a dedicated team of experts. Bakers and pastry chefs with 10 to 30 years of experience guide clients every step of the way. As Demo Center Manager Simon Heyberger explains: 

“They are the same teams who support clients, from trials to the commissioning of the equipment or line at the clients’ site. Since they are comprehensively familiar with each project, our bakers and pastry chefs know the client’s expectations in detail, so they can recommend the ideal conditions during commissioning.” 

The Demo Center is also a hub for exchanging knowledge, hosting seminars, and offering training sessions to help professionals test, learn, and innovate.
